Medical Center Clinic is pleased to announce the addition of Michael Zelig, MD to The Gastroenterology Center.
Dr. Zelig is a board-certified gastroenterologist. He completed his medical degree at the State University New York in Syracuse, NY. He went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital with the Albert Einstien College of Medicine, located in Bronx, NY. After that, he went on to complete a research fellowship in gastroenterology as an Irving Clinical Research Fellow, as well as a clinical fellowship in gastroenterology at Lahey Clinic, New England Deaconess Hospital, and Harvard Medical School in Burlington, MA.

Gastroenterology at Medical Center Clinic provides compassionate care for all of your gastroenterology needs. The Gastroenterology Department provides modern diagnostic and therapeutic assessments of diseases of the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, pancreas, and biliary tract. Some special areas of interest are: diseases of the liver, motor disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, inflammatory bowel disease, cancer screenings, absorptive disorders and nutritional support. The Gastroenterology Department utilizes advanced techniques such as the capsule endoscopy and state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. Dr. Zelig has special interests in inflammatory bowel disease and colon cancer prevention.
