MEDICAL CENTER CLINIC WELCOMES ASHTON ROUNTREE, MD, FAAD TO THE DERMATOLOGY & LASER CENTER

Medical Center Clinic is pleased to announce the arrival of Ashton Rountree, MD, FAAD, to the Dermatology and Laser Center. Dr. Rountree completed her undergraduate studies at University of Georgia, in Athens, GA, receiving degrees in biology and psychology. She went on to earn her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine, in Macon, GA. During her internship in internal medicine at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, Dr. Rountree was named “Intern of the Year”. She later completed her residency in dermatology at the Medical College of Georgia, in Augusta, GA. Dr. Rountree is board certified through the American Board of Dermatology, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. The Dermatology & Laser Center is comprised of highly trained practitioners who specialize in complex medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology, including MOHS surgery. They provide treatments for a multitude of skin conditions including, acne, moles, warts, eczema, psoriasis, and rashes. The providers are specialty trained in the treatment of skin cancers including, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma.
