Medical Center Clinic is pleased to announce the arrival of Shelby Carson, PA-C, to Dermatology & Laser Center. Shelby Carson, PA-C, completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education, at University of Florida, in Gainesville, FL, and continued on to earn a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, from University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has over five years of experience in patient healthcare. During her clinical rotations, Shelby worked in a variety of departments including family medicine, emergency medicine, dermatology, general surgery, and pediatrics. Shelby will be working under the direct supervision of board-certified dermatologist, Scott McMartin, MD. The Dermatology & Laser Center is comprised of highly trained practitioners who specialize in complex medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology, including MOHS surgery. They provide treatments for a multitude of skin conditions including acne, moles, warts, eczema, psoriasis, and rashes.
