Medical Center Clinic would like to welcome Melissa Stephany Johnson, APRN-C to the team at Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. Melissa will be working under the direct supervision and instruction of Stephen Kimura, MD. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she continued on to earn her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner specialty, both from University of West Florida. Melissa brings a wealth of knowledge with her 8 years of prior nursing experience. During her years as a registered nurse at Baptist Health Care and Ascension Sacred Heart, Melissa worked on many high-risk departments including the cardiovascular unit, the progressive care unit, cardiac ICU, and the perinatal specialty unit among many others. She provided exceptional care for her patients while using an interdisciplinary approach. Allergy, Asthma and Immunology at Medical Center Clinic treats all allergic conditions such as, asthma, allergic urticaria, chronic urticaria, food allergy, atopic dermatitis, drug allergies and primary immunodeficiency.
