Medical Center Clinic is pleased to announce the addition of Patricia Kachur, MD, to the rheumatology department. Dr. Kachur obtained her medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine in Bridgetown, Barbados. She went on to complete internship and residency programs in internal medicine at the University of Central Florida in Ocala, Florida. She completed a fellowship in rheumatology at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Throughout her training, Dr. Kachur received several academic awards, authored numerous academic papers, and presented research at national conferences, including the American College of Rheumatology Annual Meeting and the Florida Medical Association. As a part of the MusculoSkeletal Center at Medical Center Clinic, the rheumatology department works in a coordinated manner with the departments of neurology, orthopaedics, pain management, and physical therapy to provide convenient, comprehensive patient care under one roof. The physicians specialize in full diagnostic evaluations and treatments for over 100 types of diseases that affect the muscles, bones, joints, and other connective tissue.
