RHEUMATOLOGY
The Rheumatology Department, located at the Musculoskeletal Center on the Medical Center Clinic campus, can provide you with a full diagnostic evaluation for degenerative or inflammatory joint and muscle diseases as well as autoimmune disorders. The evaluation can include a complete medical examination, laboratory testing, bone and joint scan, and a blood, synovial and crystal analysis, based on your consult with one of our highly trained and experienced Rheumatologists.
The Rheumatology Department specializes in treating people afflicted with the more than 100 diseases that cause arthritis and related disorders of the joints, muscles and bones. Some commonly treated diseases and disorders follow:
Ankylosing Spondylitis
Crohn’s Disease
Gout
Fibromyalgia
Osteoarthritis
Osteoporosis
Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR)
Psoriatic Arthritis

The physicians and staff have the capability of offering a variety of medications for several different rheumatologic disorders, such as Remicade, Orencia, Rituxan, Benlysta, Actemera, Prolia, Reclast and Boniva. For your convenience, the Rheumatology Department also has an on-site infusion center with experienced RN's to make your visit more comfortable and offers a variety of appointment times, Monday through Thursday, 8am until 5pm, to meet your needs.
